Tamweel has completed listing procedures on the Dubai Financial Market through the Securities and Commodities Authority.
Adel Al Shirawi, CEO of Tamweel, said: "We are confident that the listing process will contribute to the expansion of our business horizons as we continue to provide financing services to the most prestigious projects being developed in the UAE.
Tamweel issued a statement saying that the listing would provide opportunities for investors to participate in the growth and expansion of one of the largest real estate finance companies in the region.
The IPO, with more than 140,000 subscribers, was oversubscribed by 267 million dirhams, exceeding the required volume by 485 times.
Tamweel is one of the first UAE companies to be transformed from a limited liability company into a public joint stock company and listed on the Dubai Stock Exchange.
